Communities we serve

Clients come to us from across Broward County. These are the places we see most often:

• Wilton Manors — our home city, and a short walk from the office
• Fort Lauderdale — including the beach, Victoria Park, Coral Ridge and downtown
• Oakland Park — immediately north of us along Dixie Highway
• Pompano Beach — north along Federal Highway
• Lauderdale-by-the-Sea and Lighthouse Point
• Plantation — where Jim served as president of the Jaycees in 1975
• Sunrise, Tamarac and Coral Springs
• Hollywood, Dania Beach and Hallandale Beach
• Boca Raton and Delray Beach in neighbouring Palm Beach County

If you are just outside that list, call and ask. Working by post, email and telephone means distance is rarely the deciding factor.

Working with us from a distance

Plenty of our clients never come to the office at all. Documents can be posted or sent electronically, questions can be answered by telephone, and the finished return can be reviewed in a call. What matters is that the work is done properly and that you can reach the person who did it.

Local knowledge that helps

Broward County has its own practicalities: Florida has no personal income tax but does have corporate income tax and sales and use tax; the county’s property Appraiser records are public and useful when a client is buying or selling; and a great many local businesses are seasonal in ways that affect cash flow and estimated payments. Forty years in the same county means we have seen most of it before.
